Job Title: KidsFirst Case Manager
Reports to: Program Manager
Beginning Hourly Rate: TBD
Full-time position working with abuse neglect wards of the court, ages newborn to 17 years old. The Case Manager works in partnership with two Clinical Case Managers to meet the clinical and case management needs of the students in shelter. Working effectively as a member of the CORE team. The Case Manager has shared responsibility for gathering and coordinating all pertinent information about a student and the students' family and transferring that information to other Agency staff as needed. The Case Manager, in partnership with the Clinical Case Managers, is the primary communication between the Agency and each assigned students' parents, caseworker, teachers, school, juvenile court workers and school, setting up and providing transportation to school, monitoring school progress, addressing issues that arise, coordinating and monitoring parent and sibling visits, coordinating medical visits, court hearings and other case management needs that arise. As such, the Case Manager is expected to contribute to all written reports and communications regarding a student's case, maintain effective verbal communication with all parties to a case, and represent the Agency in court hearings, meetings and other activities related to assigned students.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Social Work, Psychology or related field. Have strong writing and time management skills. Experience in a Residential setting is a plus.
