The Family Support Specialist will educate parents and promote Parent As Teachers (PAT) from ages 0-5 years. Additionally, they will be responsible for proving Parenting Wisely services and assist with Case Management cases as needed.

Ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in providing treatment services for children and families. Candidate will have an understanding and knowledge of the evidence-based treatment models and mental health services.

Qualified candidate must meet or exceed the qualifications to be considered a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP). Specialized training and one year of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families.

Licensed or limited-licensed social worker or professional counselor with at least a bachelor's degree in mental health-related field from an accredited school. 

Ideal candidate must complete a minimum of 24 hours of training annually focusing specifically on the treatment of children and families. Candidate must have a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points on record, or ability to travel to clients' homes as required, therefore reliable transportation is a must.
