Position: Youth Development Specialist (2nd, 3rd, and part – time shifts) Beginning Hourly Rate: $15.00 - $16.00 No deadline. Want to make a difference in the lives of children and youth who have experienced trauma, abuse and neglect? Full time positions in a non-secure residential treatment program, providing youth-centered counseling, care, direction and support. Assure youth are physically and emotionally safe while working as part of a larger treatment team, teaching and modelling social, communication, decision making and conflict resolution skills in support of therapist-designed service plans. Position: Therapist - Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy Beginning Salary Range: $36,660.00 - $39,104.00 No Deadline. Full time therapist needed to provide homebased Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to children ages 4-17 and their parents in the Kent County area. Therapist works as part of a collaborative team to serve children who have experienced trauma by helping them develop coping skills and narrate their story for the purpose of healing and moving forward from trauma. This is done through the evidenced based TF-CBT model. Experience coordinating services especially with foster care is desirable. Qualifications: Must possess full or limited license in the state of Michigan in Social work (LLMSW, LMSW), Professional Counseling (LLPC, LPC), or Marriage and Family (LLMFT, LMFT, or Psychology (TLLP, LLP). Applicants must have received training in TF-CBT that exceeds the 10 hour online course provided by MUSC. Qualified applicants will have completed a trauma certificate program in graduate school or completed/be enrolled in a state-wide TFCBT learning collaborative cohort. Applicants with other specialized TF- CBT training are encouraged to apply as well. Position: Facilities Maintenance Worker Reports To: Facilities Manager Beginning Pay Range: $16.13 - $17.74 per hour Application Deadline: July 5, 2019 D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s is seeking an energetic and experienced full time Maintenance Worker to join our facilities team supporting the agency’s broad spectrum of child and family focused services including foster care, adoption, counseling, mentoring services and residential care for children. The Maintenance Worker reports to the Facility Manager and will generally work daytime hours, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional evening and/or weekend hours to respond to emergency repair needs and/or extreme weather events. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for providing clean, safe and functional facilities by ensuring that maintenance and repair activities are completed timely and accurately. The Maintenance Worker will possess a variety of skills including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, air conditioning/heating, landscaping and grounds keeping. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. 2 to 3 years of maintenance experience preferred. 

Position: Behavior Support Services Specialist Reports To: Behavior Support Services Supervisor Beginning Wage Range: $12.94 per hour Application Deadline: July 05, 2019 
Part-time position (with the potential for full time) working 3-5 days a week, after school, evening, and weekend hours with developmentally delayed or severely emotionally disturbed children. Meeting with the child in the family home to teach, train and/or assist the child with his or her needs that may increase or maintain independence. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. 30 college credits and child welfare experience preferred. 

Position: Foster Care Case Aide Reports To: Foster Care Case Aide Supervisor Beginning Pay Range: $11.40 per hour Application Deadline: July 07, 2019 Part-time (variable schedule) position in our Foster Care program, Monday-Saturday, for 15-25 hours per week (mostly afternoon to early evening) transporting foster children, supervising family visitations, light clerical work. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, along with a passion and desire to help children and families. Good driving record required and childcare experience preferred. Position: Foster Care Worker Reports To: Foster Care Supervisor Beginning Pay Range: $36,660.00 – $40,326.00 annually Application Deadline: June 30, 2019 Full-time Foster Care Worker position to provide case management services for children who are under court supervision/jurisdiction due to neglect a/o abuse. Individual must possess a high level of personal strength as well as sensitivity with a passion for foster care. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or similar degree with experience in child welfare required. Experience in foster care, adoption or foster home licensing is preferred. CWTI trained also preferable. 

Position: Medical Services Coordinator - RN Reports To: Medical Services Manager Beginning Pay: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour Application Deadline: July 15, 2019 DA Blodgett – St. John’s has a unique opportunity for the right RN who is looking for a Pediatric Care Coordination position – if this sounds like you, keep reading! Full time (Monday – Friday, first/second shift, with no Holidays or on-call) position to coordinate services to meet the health (physical, behavioral and dental) needs of children (ages 6-17) in residential care. Includes provision of initial health screenings, oversight of medications and related processes, collaboration and coordination with primary and specialty providers, staff training and support, and providing consultation and direction regarding routine and emergency response and care. Requires an ability to remain focused on and represent the medical and nursing perspective within a team of residential treatment professionals, as well as demonstrate compassion and concern for children while also maintaining strong and healthy boundaries. Please note this is a Medical Care Coordinator, not direct Nursing position and requires the ability to function effectively within a program and setting within which medical services are ancillary and not primary. The Medical Services Coordinator must have adequate knowledge of the various resources available in the community for adolescents. This individual must have the ability to work effectively and independently with clinical and administrative staff, as well as maintain external communications with the community. This individual must conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work practices and instructions. This candidate must have the ability to represent the agency effectively in a variety of settings and with diverse communities. This candidate must have the ability to work with electronic medical records, software programs, and pass routine testing/training on various job related skills and competencies. Qualifications: Educational requirements are graduation from an accredited nursing program, current unrestricted license within the State of Michigan (RN). Minimum of 3 years pediatric experience required, including a preference for knowledge of child/adolescent psychiatric issues and needs.
