Position: Applied Behavior Analysis Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician
Reports To: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
This is a part time, permanent position with potential for full time. Behavior Analysis is the systematic study of behavior. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the application of the principles of learning and motivation from Behavior Analysis, and the procedures and technology resulting from those principles, to the solution of problems of social significance. A Behavior Technician (BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) implements 1:1 treatment protocols as designed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for clients with Developmental Disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The BT/RBT is directly supervised by the BCBA.
Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required, a Bachelors Degree is preferred. Prior experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults with disabilities, including ASD, is preferred.
