Adoptive couples are invited to participate in MSU research study

July 15th, 2009

sswlogogreentrans.jpgAdoptive couples, please consider participating in a research study involving post-adoptive couples. This project is part of a multi-year “Strengthening Marriages and the Well-Being of Children” federal grant, which the Michigan State University School of Social Work received from the Children’s Bureau in Washington DC. Data from the survey will be used to inform development of a marriage curriculum for adoptive parents.

Your involvement is totally voluntary, and your response is confidential to the fullest extent of the law. Several protocols are in place to protect the confidentiality and rights of all participants. Please review both the cover letter and Informed Consent Document prior to downloading and printing the questionnaire.

We thank you in advance for your valuable input.

Special note: The 2009 survey is four pages shorter than the one conducted in 2008. If you completed the 2008 survey, we thank you very much. If you chose not to participate at that time, we hope you will consider this new opportunity.
