childrencenterPosition: Foster Care Case Worker
Bachelor’s degree in a related human service field with minimum of one (1) year of Foster Care experience. Must possess strong organizational, communication and computer skills. Ability to implement or use database a must. Writing sample required. Willing to provide services in culturally diverse environment; ability to provide testimonies in courtroom setting. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with proof of insurance and favorable driving record required.

Position: Foster Care Case Worker (Floater)
Bachelor’s degree in a related human service field with minimum of one (1) year of Foster Care experience. Must have completed CWI training. Provide training, coverage of caseloads and shadowing in both court and foster homes as needed. Must possess strong organizational, communication and computer skills. Ability to implement or use database a must. Excellent writing skills required. Willing to provide services in culturally diverse environment; ability to provide testimonies in courtroom setting. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with proof of insurance and favorable driving record required.

Position: Foster Care Case Worker Assistant
Associate’s degree in the social science field (sociology, social work or psychology) or two (2) years of experience actively working with families and youth in a foster care setting. Strong organizational skills and knowledge of community-based resources. Must have a valid driver’s license, favorable driving record and obtain chauffeur’s license.

Position: Clinician – Teenage Parenting Program
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, child development or a related human service field with appropriate current State of Michigan licensure. One (1) to two (2) years of experience working with children and their families. Must be willing to provide services to teenage parents as well as children between the ages of 3- 6 years old.Knowledge of infant-child development, parent-infant attachment, family relationships, teenage developmental dynamics, desirable.

Position: Management – Infant Mental Health
MSW or MA degree in social work or related human service field with a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with 0-3 years of age population. Must possess IMH Certification, an understanding of early childhood development, at least one (1) year of supervisory experience, strong leadership abilities, ability to manage multiple programs, knowledge of CMH systems, especially Wayne County, strong organizational, computer, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to implement or use database. Community-based experience preferred.
