2007 Salary & Fringe Benefit Survey Summary Now Available

August 31st, 2007

The Michigan Federation for Children and Families issued this week the 2007 Salary & Fringe Benefit Survey Summary reflecting data current as of March 31, 2007. The report reflects actual salaries of 4,509 employees across 59 job classifications within 38 Michigan private, nonprofit child and family service agencies. One job classification was added this year (staff trainer).

You’ll notice (unless you are seeing this report for the first time) a new look to the survey report…..

—The biggest difference in content is within the Fringe Benefits section, where we revised the survey to collect much more detail in this area.
—The Salary data presentation is totally new. Each page includes the entire chart of classifications and provides both entry-level salary ranges and actual salaries paid for each position. A composite of all agencies reporting is provided, followed by separate charts for several groupings of agencies based on number of FTEs and size of budget.

Special thanks to the private agency staff who invested their time and energy completing this survey.

A copy of the report is available to non-participating non-Federation organizations for $150; $100 for Affiliate and Individual Federation members, and will be advertised on our web site’s Home Page, www.michfed.org.
