On May 29, 2007 the Early Childhood Investment Corporation will host a gathering of parents, teachers, advocates and children to share with legislators the power of investing in early childhood programs. Planned activities include:  7:30am breakfast for early risers on the Capitol Lawn, rally on the Capitol Square East, Interactive Issues Briefing, meetings with your State Senators and/or Representatives  and a wrap-up afternoon snack at the ECIC office. Participants will have the opportunity to educate legislators on how they can impact early childhood services. The meetings with legislators will be scheduled for you. Each participant will have the opportunity at the end of the day to share the day’s experiences in the debriefing sessions.
